How to play Sudoku

Sudoku is a logic game played on a 9x9 grid with 81 squares also known as cells. This grid is divided into 9 blocks (3x3 squares), 9 columns and 9 rows. Each of these is known as a house for a total of 27 houses. Each of the 27 houses must contain the numbers 1 - 9 within the squares without duplicates or omissions. You may only put one number in each square.

A Sudoku game will start with givens which are numbers already provided to you. Using the rules above you must fill in the remaining numbers using reasoning and deduction abiding by the rules. The Sudoku game is completed once you fill in each square with the correct number. To check if a puzzle has been completed successfully, each row column and block will only contain the numbers 1 - 9 without duplicates or omissions.
